Social tennis sessions occur 3 times a week on Tuesdays and Fridays (6 – 9pm) and Sundays (2 – 6pm).
These sessions provide an ideal chance to play other club members, on a mix and match format, without the need for pre-arrangement. The format is to play 1 set of doubles, with a usual 7-point tie break at 5 games all. All sessions take place, and have priority, on courts 1 – 4 inclusive. All members should ensure no-one is waiting to play before going on court OR before playing another set.
Occasionally, coaching will take place on Court 4 on Tuesdays and has priority.

Currently we have 5 men’s teams and 5 women’s teams that play in the winter and summer Surrey leagues. We also have 4 mixed teams who play in the summer months only. Selection is based on both merit and commitment and all standards are catered for as much as possible. If you wish to play for the teams in the first instance speak any of the team captains below.
The club hosts an annual tournament, between May and July, and all members are encouraged to participate. There are 7 categories: Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Singles, Ladies’, Gentlemen’s, and Mixed Doubles, and Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Veterans Doubles. Entries are invited via email in March/April. If you don’t have a partner, please enter anyway. Organisers are happy to pair you with a doubles partner if you don’t nominate anyone.

For members wishing to play singles, the box league system groups four or five members ensure you get at least three competitive matches to play over a period of approximately 6 weeks. Finish top (or bottom) of the box and be promoted (or relegated). Member Perry Stimpson co-ordinates the Box Leagues via this website. To participate in the next box league series email Perry directly.
These are fun tournaments lasting a few hours and are held several times a year. A handicap scoring system gives most players a chance of winning and these are an excellent way to meet new members.

At last glance, there were over 20 events available for adults and 8 for juniors as well as a Mini Tennis Junior League and the Little Hitters League.
